Integrated Care Northamptonshire welcomes new Digital Director
Integrated Care Northamptonshire is pleased to announce the appointment of Kirstie Watson as the new Digital Director for NHS Northamptonshire Integrated Care Board (ICB).
Kirstie returns to Northamptonshire following a period with NHS England and took up her new role at the beginning of this month.
Previously, Kirstie was system Digital Lead for Northamptonshire Health and Care Partnership and prior to that was Head of Clinical Systems at Northampton General Hospital for seven years.
Kirstie says: “I’m delighted to have returned to Northamptonshire following a period at NHS England. I bring with me more than 30 years of digital and programme management experience, including 10 years in the NHS and before that with the police service and private sector.
“My approach is collaborative – I prefer working with people rather than in silos or in competitive ventures. I like to be transparent and believe in clear governance and prioritisation methodologies.
“I plan to spend the first couple of weeks getting a view of where we currently are with digital – including current challenges, obstacles and opportunities for digitally supported transformation – before identifying key areas of focus. I am very excited to be getting started in this new role.”
