Two inspiring speakers join us on February 27 for our next Leadership Matters Conversation.

LMC - Blog post header - Embracing and celebrating our uniqueness talk

In celebration of LGBTQ+ History Month, we are pleased to host Tim Couchman and Bellinda (Belle) Cotton for the latest in our inspiring Leadership Matters Conversations series.

Join us at 12.30pm on Monday 27 February as they discuss how to celebrate everyone's uniqueness to develop a more inclusive culture. They will talk about why promoting inclusion is about more than tolerating differences – it's about creating an environment where everyone's uniqueness is welcomed.

Belle Cotton is a veteran of local government with 36 years of experience and is currently the data protection officer for West Northamptonshire Council.

In 2020, Belle completed her own social and professional transition and now uses her experience of transitioning to help others navigate workplace transitioning. An active member of the LGBTQ+ community, Belle actively leads, manages, and participates in a variety of local and national transgender and LGBTQ+ support groups and advocates for transgender rights and healthcare.

Tim Couchman is responsible for equality, diversity, and inclusion at United Lincolnshire Hospital NHS Trust (ULHT). He is currently the programme manager for the Leading Inclusively with Cultural Intelligence programme, working with over 300 leaders at ULHT on this programme.

After a career in management at a German multinational company, he trained as an ordained minister and has been involved in hospital chaplaincy for 16 years.
