Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (NHFT) has a new and exciting apprenticeship opportunity for young people interested in an administrative careers. NHFT’s Strategy and Partnership Team is offering a Business Administrator apprenticeship.  

The Team works collaboratively with all areas of NHFT, other healthcare providers and the voluntary sector to identify, develop and acquire new and existing healthcare services for the people of Northamptonshire and beyond. The trust’s diverse range of service areas means that you will be involved in projects in areas from childhood to older adults, in-patient wards to prisons, community clinics to virtual clinics and many more. You will participate in developing bids and tenders, building business cases, creating partnerships, and supporting services to provide effective, safe, and compassionate care to service users. 

The ideal role for a team player with a strong work ethic, candidates are expected to have excellent customer care skills, as well as a strong sense of accountability. The role offers the opportunity to assist the Strategy and Partnership Team with a wide range of administrative tasks.  

For those aged 16-20, successful applicants will receive a salary of £15,202 p/a, while individuals aged 21+ at the start of the programme receive a remuneration package of £20,270 p/a. Salary adjustments will be made for those whose enter the latter age bracket during the course. In the second year of the apprenticeship, those aged 16-20 will see their salary increase to £20,270 p/a.
