Northamptonshire Health and Care Careers Academy is pleased to present a brand-new Business Administration Level 3 apprenticeship based at Berrywood Hospital in Duston, Northampton.

If you are a self-motivated, hardworking and enthusiastic individual looking to take your first step into an administration career in the NHS, this post at Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (NHFT) could be just what you are looking for.

This apprenticeship opportunity sits within the nursing and quality directorate. The post holder will work with NHFT and the training provider to achieve qualification and will be allocated time to study during working hours. The training will take between 12 and18 months to complete and, once completed, the chosen individual will be able to explore further training opportunities within the organisation.

During the apprenticeship, the post holder will provide administrative support to the nursing and quality directorate under supervision and with the support of a line manager and a tutor.

They will have a varied working day and lots of opportunities to grow and develop various skills. These will include working on Microsoft Office, Excel and using a variety of platforms to produce documents and simple reports.

Study for a qualification will take place alongside this role and the post holder will be given time and support to achieve this.

For 16-20 year-old candidates, this role has a starting salary of £15,202 in the first year, increasing to £20,270 in the second year. For individuals aged 21 years old and above, the salary is £20,270 for the duration of the apprenticeship.
